For Petrochemical, shipbuilding & industrial construction &
maintenance.
There is practically no scaffold job that cannot be done with
PARAS. It
makes no difference whether the jobs is building construction, renovation or cornice removal, pressure vessels, heat
exchangers, furnaces, cooling towers or piping, PARAS SCAFFOLDING can be erected to do the work efficiently and safely.
Here are just a few of the reasons why PARAS SCAFFOLDING is ideal equipment
for oil refinery maintenance and repairs.
Since most every Petrochemical & Fertilizer units are of different size
or shape an all-purpose, scaffold is required PARAS SCAFFOLDING is virtually
unlimited in height & shape. There are virtually no obstructions which
cannot be overcome with PARAS.
Cracking towers & their complex piping can easily be scaffolded with
PARAS to provide working platform at any desired level. |
| GUARD RAILS: |
shall not be less than 36 inches, or more than 42 inches, in height. Mid rails should be halfway
between platform and top rail. |
| TIES: |
The entire scaffold shall be tied to, and securely
braced against, the building at intervals not to exceed 3 feet horizontally and 26 feet vertically. |
| BEARERS: |
shall be installed
transversely between posts and
shall be securely clamped to the posts directly above the runner. When coupled directly to the
runners, the couple must be kept as close to the posts as possible. Bearers shall be at least 4 inches,
but not more than 12 inches, longer than the post spacing or runner spacing. Maximum bearer width
for light duty use is 6 feet; for medium duty use, the maximum width is 5 feet. |
| RUNNERS: |
shall run the length of the scaffold and be placed
inside of both vertical posts. They shall be inter- locked to form continuous lengths and clamped to
each post. The bottom runners shall be located as close to the base as possible. Vertical distance
between runners shall not exceed 6 feet 6 inches. |
| BRACING: |
shall be installed across the width of. the scaffold, at
least every third set of posts horizontally, and every fourth runner vertically. Such backing shall extend diagonally from the inner and outer runners upward
to the next outer and inner runners. |
| POSTS: |
Shall be accurately spaced, erected on suitable
bases, and maintained plumb. Maximum horizontal spacing for medium duty use is 10 feet, and 8 feet
for light duty use. |
| DIAGONAL BRACING: |
(outside
of posts) on the inner and outer rows of posts shall be installed
at approximately 45° angle from near the base of the first outer
post upward to the extreme top of the scaffold. Where the
longitudinal length of the scaffold permits, such bracing shall be
duplicated beginning at every fifth post. In a similar manner,
diagonal bracing shall also be installed from the last post
extending back and upward toward the first post. When conditions
preclude the attachment of this bracing the posts, it may be
attached to the runners. |
"PARAS" Scaffolding is easy to handle since it is erected from only five individual components. Strong, slender PARAS members offer a minimum of wind resistance. PARAS components will pass through extremely small openings, making it possible to erect scaffold-
ing inside tanks. The same basic components can be used to erect PARAS Rolling Scaffolding for work which required
a moveable platform. PARAS SCAFFOLDING is manufactured with normally 40 mm bored steel
tubes. BECAUSE of its strength and simplicity of design, "PARAS" scaffolding components require an
absolute minimum of maintenance. However, certain simple inspection and maintenance procedures should be followed to help
assure safe, trouble free scaffolding. Bend tubes can be straightened and stored according to length.. Seriously damaged or split tubing
should be discarded or cut into shot lengths for shot bears, after fittings have been
removed. When necessary, tubes should be cleaned by hand with a wire brush or wire brush machine. During the cleaning operation male and female fittings should
be inspected fully.
Couplers should be inspected closely for damage which would affect their safety. Studs should be kept
covered with a light film of Oil. Eye bolt and nuts must be checked for security as well as for proper fit
and stripped threads. When necessary, coupler should be cleaned with a wire brush. Fixed and
swivel couplers can then be binned separately
Bases should be inspected for damage, cleaned by wire brush when necessary and stored in bins.
Although "PARAS" scaffolding requires an absolute minimum or repair, it may develop that replacement
of certain parts will become necessary because of damage in handling etc.
CAUTION
Serious injury may result from improper erection or use of scaffolding equipments. Erectors and users
must be familiar with detailed instruction pertaining to the products shown herein.

Fabricated steel planks The scaffold steel planks are very good
replacement to wooden planks. These types of steel planks are more sturdy,
light in weight, cannot catch fire & have a long life. There is a 100
% return after its use.
